Pat Blythe has been involved in the entertainment business in one capacity or another for 40 years. Writer, publicity, public relations, media relations, photographer, Pat has worn many caps. Landing in Toronto in 1979, record store Circle of Sound on Yonge St., two Toronto booking agencies, an artist management agency (The Kings) and her own small publicity company (Panthyr Productions) quickly followed. She finally segued into a full time position at Burson-Marsteller, which at that time was the world's largest public relations firm.
Now beginning her fifth year (2020) as a weekly music columnist for the blog site Don't Believe A Word I Say (DBAWIS) Pat also contributes feature articles and photographs to a number of publications including See Rock Live Magazine, Canadian Musician and Cashbox Canada Magazine. She photographs events and shows as Pat Blythe; A Girl With A Camera and A Girl With A Camera “The Picture Taker.
